Sydney Wind Symphony is pleased to announce that the exceptionally talented Mark Brown has been appointed Musical Director. Mark brings with him a wealth of conducting experience, having been Assistant Conductor of the Conservatorium Wind Orchestra, a participant of the Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra Conductor in Training program under Maestro Henryk Pisarek and the Symphonic Workshops International School for Conducting studying under Maestros Kirk Trevor, Tsung Ye and Johanes Schafli.
Our first concert with Mark will take place on 24 March 2013, 2pm at Turramurra Uniting Church, featuring music from the movies.
